In this episode, Jack talks about where he purchases a lot of his new and used vinyl LPs and why he chooses certain pressings over others. He also highlights a few fun photography accessories. SO this is the first step.. got the blog/ website up and running so now I’ll get going on the YOU TUBE CHANNEL !. Those of you who know about this endeavour have asked what’s this going to be about.
First.. there will be some photography–maybe some things on new gear, books, photographers I like, travels etc. but the bulk of my photographic concentration (online) is with John Pedersen on our world renown podcast “WE TALK PHOTO“. ..Basically don’t look for Straight Talk with Jack to be a lot of photography.
I will talk about new music ( Jazz and Vinyl) that I’ve found, musicians etc. Also we talk about travels, art, new gadgets (I am a gadget person) etc. What we won’t be talking about is anything that has to do with politics or controversy. There is enough of that all around us these days.
John Pedersen is my producer, my link to technology as I like to call him (LTT). He will make this happen. He’s also really smart. I need a lot of that these days.
So stay tuned–you’ll be the 1st to know when we are up and running!. I’m no expert at this so bear with me. It should be worth it!-JG
